Guitar Lessons
My Teaching Style
It can be daunting when beginning to learn guitar, especially when you feel like you have to be learning a bunch of things you have no interest in.
I can tell you as a gigging/touring guitar and bass player of a decade, that learning what you love is far more important than stuff that has no meaning or application for you.
My promise to you as your teacher is to help you learn what excites you, make sure you are interested and engaged, and help you love the new skill you are developing.
I co-wrote and produced my first album at the age of 16, which topped at #8 on the top Reggae albums on iTunes.
I have played (guitar and bass) in the Legendary Jamaican Reggae band Cultural Roots, backing original lead singer Wayde Dice, and more recently played bass for former frontman of AER, Carter Reeves, in his reggae/pop project Surfer Girl. Currently, I play bass for Zane Christopher.
Throughout my career, I have been fortunate enough to share the stage with Errol "Flabba" Holt, Rangotan Smith (Black Uhuru, Tenor Saw, Sugar Minott), Glen DaCosta (of Bob Marley and the Wailers), and with members of Groundation, Tribal Seeds, The Elovaters, AER, NoMBe, Naya Rockers, and have worked in the studio with Grammy-Award winning Craig Welsch of 10 ft ganja plant.
